GRACEMERE CATTLE SALE MARKET REPORT – WEDNESDAY 28TH JANUARY 2026
Combined agents received an increased yarding of 3,298 head, comprising of 1,399 steers, 1,288 heifers, 384 cows, 27 bulls, 99 mickey bulls and 96 cows and calves. The slaughter market strengthened from last week. The feeder steer market softened slightly, and light steers softened mainly due to lack of numbers. Feeder heifer market saw a dramatic strengthening, with some quality lines on offer leading to a highly competitive market.
