GRACEMERE CATTLE SALE MARKET REPORT – WEDNESDAY 4TH MARCH 2026
Combined agents received an increased yarding of 3,048 head, comprising of 1,360 steers, 1,358 heifers, 206 cows, 14 bulls, 46 mickey bulls and 64 cows & calves. Slaughter bulls saw a strengthening, with live exporters re-entering the market creating strong competition against processors. Slaughter weight females remained firm upon last week. Feeder steers remained firm upon last week. A strengthening in the light steer market was observed across all categories. Feeder heifers held strong, with large vendor bred lines creating a valuable market opportunity.
