ROMA STORE CATTLE SALE MARKET REPORT – TUESDAY 12TH MAY 2026
A total of 5,666 head of cattle were consigned at Roma’s Store Sale on Tuesday.
Weaner steers under 200kg topped at 536c/kg and averaged 475c/kg, weaner steers in the 200-280kg range reached 536c/kg and averaged 483c/kg. Steers in the 280-330kg range reached 514c/kg and averaged 474c/kg, and steers in the 330-400kg range reached 492c/kg and averaged 470c/kg. Feeder steers in the 400-500kg range topped at 480c/kg and averaged 459c/kg.
Heifers under 200kg topped at 380c/kg and averaged 316c/kg, while heifers in the 200-280kg range topped at 394c/kg and averaged 344c/kg. Heifers in the 280-330kg range topped at 420c/kg, averaging 350c/kg. Heifers in the 330-400kg range topped at 450c/kg, averaging 357c/kg. Heifers in the 400-500kg range topped at 450c/kg, averaging 376c/kg.
Cows in the 330-400kg range reached 290c/kg and averaged 234c/kg. Cows in the 400-500kg range topped at 396c/kg, averaging 314c/kg. Cows in the 500-600kg range topped at 388c/kg, averaging 333c/kg. Cows over 600kg topped at 390c/kg, averaging 370c/kg.
