ROMA STORE CATTLE SALE MARKET REPORT – TUESDAY 16TH JUNE 2026
A total of 8,438 head of cattle were consigned at Roma’s Store Sale on Tuesday.
Weaner steers under 200kg topped at 626c/kg and averaged 567c/kg, weaner steers in the 200-280kg range reached 602c/kg, and averaged 557c/kg. Steers in the 280-330kg range reached 590c/kg and averaged 525c/kg, and steers in the 330-400kg range reached 600c/kg and averaged 516c/kg. Feeder steers in the 400-500kg range topped at 554c/kg and averaged 502c/kg.
Heifers under 200kg topped at 494c/kg and averaged 451c/kg, while heifers in the 200-280kg range topped at 570c/kg and averaged 455c/kg. Heifers in the 280-330kg range topped at 570c/kg, averaging 465c/kg. Heifers in the 330-400kg range topped at 542c/kg, averaging 432c/kg. Heifers in the 400-500kg range topped at 542c/kg, averaging 443c/kg.
Cows in the 330-400kg range reached 360c/kg and averaged 275c/kg. Cows in the 400-500kg range topped at 391c/kg, averaging 342c/kg. Cows in the 500-600kg range topped at 420c/kg, averaging 374c/kg. Cows over 600kg topped at 410c/kg, averaging 389c/kg.
