ROMA STORE CATTLE SALE MARKET REPORT – TUESDAY 26TH MAY 2026
A total of 8,320 head of cattle were consigned at Roma’s Store Sale on Tuesday.
Weaner steers under 200kg topped at 580c/kg and averaged 528c/kg. Weaner steers in the 200-280kg range reached 584c/kg and averaged 539c/kg. Steers in the 280-330kg range reached 576c/kg and averaged 543c/kg. Steers in the 330-400kg range reached 574c/kg and averaged 527c/kg. Feeder steers in the 400-500kg range topped at 536c/kg and averaged 512c/kg.
Heifers under 200kg topped at 450c/kg and averaged 407c/kg, while heifers in the 200-280kg range topped at 490c/kg, and averaged 420c/kg. Heifers in the 280-330kg range topped at 500c/kg, averaging 420c/kg. Heifers in the 330-400kg range topped at 466c/kg, averaging 421c/kg. Heifers in the 400-500kg range topped at 466c/kg, averaging 425c/kg.
Cows in the 330-400kg range reached 338c/kg and averaged 309c/kg. Cows in the 400-500kg range topped at 395c/kg, averaging 341c/kg. Cows in the 500-600kg range topped at 420c/kg, averaging 383c/kg. Cows over 600kg topped at 425c/kg, averaging 401c/kg.
