ROMA STORE CATTLE SALE MARKET REPORT – TUESDAY 28TH APRIL 2026
A total of 6,064 head of cattle were consigned at Roma’s Store Sale on Tuesday.
Weaner steers under 200kg topped at 440c/kg and averaged 440c/kg, weaner steers in the 200-280kg range reached 518c/kg and averaged 447c/kg. Steers in the 280-330kg range reached 498c/kg and averaged 443c/kg, and steers in the 330-400kg range reached 494c/kg and averaged 441c/kg. Feeder steers in the 400-500kg range topped at 468c/kg and averaged 429c/kg.
Heifers under 200kg topped at 338c/kg and averaged 264c/kg, while heifers in the 200-280kg range topped at 372c/kg and averaged 314c/kg. Heifers in the 280-330kg range topped at 380c/kg, averaging 328c/kg. Heifers in the 330-400kg range topped at 376c/kg, averaging 323c/kg. Heifers in the 400-500kg range topped at 404c/kg, averaging 315c/kg.
Cows in the 330-400kg range reached 260c/kg and averaged 200c/kg. Cows in the 400-500kg range topped at 315c/kg, averaging 256c/kg. Cows in the 500-600kg range topped at 325c/kg, averaging 292c/kg. Cows over 600kg topped at 338c/kg, averaging 303c/kg.
