ROMA STORE CATTLE SALE MARKET REPORT – TUESDAY 3RD FEBRUARY 2026
A total of 6,852 head of cattle were consigned at Roma’s Store Sale on Tuesday.
Weaner steers under 200kg topped at 538c/kg and averaged 432c/kg, weaner steers in the 200-280kg range reached 550c/kg and averaged 501c/kg. Steers in the 280-330kg range reached 546c/kg and averaged 494c/kg, and steers in the 330-400kg range reached 546c/kg and averaged 485c/kg. Feeder steers in the 400-500kg range topped at 496c/kg and averaged 462c/kg.
Heifers under 200kg topped at 394c/kg and averaged 348c/kg, while heifers in the 200-280kg range topped at 430c/kg and averaged 372c/kg. Heifers in the 280-330kg range topped at 430c/kg, averaging 399c/kg. Heifers in the 330-400kg range topped at 500c/kg, averaging 427c/kg. Heifers in the 400-500kg range topped at 460c/kg, averaging 410c/kg.
Cows in the 330-400kg range reached 345c/kg and averaged 252c/kg. Cows in the 400-500kg range topped at 385c/kg, averaging 346c/kg. Cows in the 500-600kg range topped at 390c/kg, averaging 370c/kg. Cows over 600kg topped at 390c/kg, averaging 383c/kg.
