ROMA STORE CATTLE SALE MARKET REPORT – TUESDAY 7TH JULY 2026
A total of 9,715 head of cattle were consigned at Roma’s Store Sale on Tuesday.
Weaner steers under 200kg topped at 616c/kg and averaged 564c/kg, weaner steers in the 200-280kg range reached 632c/kg and averaged 580c/kg. Steers in the 280-330kg range reached 616c/kg and averaged 580c/kg, and steers in the 330-400kg range reached 612c/kg and averaged 548c/kg. Feeder steers in the 400-500kg range topped at 578c/kg and averaged 541c/kg.
Heifers under 200kg topped at 498c/kg and averaged 457c/kg, while heifers in the 200-280kg range topped at 606c/kg and averaged 460c/kg. Heifers in the 280-330kg range topped at 548c/kg, averaging 474c/kg. Heifers in the 330-400kg range topped at 558c/kg, averaging 479c/kg. Heifers in the 400-500kg range topped at 542c/kg, averaging 444c/kg.
Cows in the 330-400kg range reached 360c/kg and averaged 298c/kg. Cows in the 400-500kg range topped at 386c/kg, averaging 342c/kg. Cows in the 500-600kg range topped at 408c/kg, averaging 370c/kg. Cows over 600kg topped at 412c/kg, averaging 380c/kg.
