WARWICK CATTLE SALE MARKET REPORT – TUESDAY 15TH SEPTEMBER 2026

Total Yarding: 1,741 (+500)

The ongoing dry weather encouraged sellers to off load stock which resulted in numbers increasing by 500 head to 1,741 at Warwick. All the regular buyers attended and despite the extra numbers prices have held firm for most classes and any price variations were quality related.

Light weight yearling steers to background sold from 426c to 552c/kg. Yearling steers over 280kg the restock sold to 536c with those to feed at 565c/kg. Medium weight yearling steers to feed sold from 452c to 566c/kg. Heavy yearling steers to feed sold from 436c to 490c/kg. Light weight yearling heifers to restockers sold from 402c to 496c/kg. Yearling heifers over 280kg to background sold from 422c to 488c with sales to 510c/kg. Medium weight yearling heifers to feed sold from 370c to 496c/kg. Heavy yearling heifers to feed sold from 418c to 478c with those to processors at 500c/kg.

Bullocks to processors sold from 452c to 486c up by 9c/kg. Grown heifers to processors sold from 408c to 443c/kg. Light weight cows to processors sold from 294c to 364c/kg. Heavy score 2 cows to processors gained 3c and sold from 310c to 365c/kg. Good heavy score 4 cows eased by 2c and sold from 371c to 426c/kg. Light weight bulls to restockers sold from 368c to 484c/kg. Heavy bulls to processors improved by 10c and sold from 380c to 490c/kg.
