Warwick agents penned 519 head of mixed quality yearling cattle for the last sale of 2025. Prices varied depending on type and quality with restockers keen to purchase the better bred lines.

Light weight yearling steers to restockers sold to 546c/kg. Yearling steers in the 200-280kg range to restockers made 538c/kg to average 494c/kg. Yearling steers over 280kg to feed sold to 490c/kg with those over 330kg to feed at 498c/kg to average 456c/kg. Heavy yearling steers to the wholesale meat trade sold to 480c/kg and averaged 458c/kg. Light weight yearling heifers to restockers made 528c/kg to average 483c/kg. Medium weight yearling heifers to feed made 438c/kg to average 423c/kg.

Grown heifers to processors made 359c/kg to average 349c/kg. A small sample of cows sold to 311c/kg. Light weight bulls to restockers sold to 496c/kg and averaged 446c/kg.
