Warwick agents penned 1,618 head of well finished heavy export lines along with feeder yearling steers and heifers and young cattle to suit the restocker. All the regular processors attended and operated on a market that mirrored last week with feeder and restocker yearlings following the same trend.

Light weight yearling steers to restockers sold to 582c/kg. Yearling steers over 280kg to background made 558c to average 525c/kg. Yearling steers to feed for the domestic market made 530c to average 507c/kg. Heavy yearling steers to feed sold to 516c and averaged 492c/kg. Light weight yearling heifers to background made 500c to average 447c/kg. Yearling heifers over 280kg to feed made 470c/kg. Medium weight yearling heifers to feed made 464c to average 437c/kg. Heavy yearling heifers to feed sold to 441c with those to the wholesale meat trade at 472c to average 460c/kg.

Grown steers to processors made 477c to average 470c/kg. Grown heifers to processors sold to 459c and averaged from 423c to 441c/kg. Light weight plain conditioned cows to processors made 388c to average 360c/kg. Heavy score 3 cows to processors made 396c with the best heavy cows topping at 410c to average 401c/kg. Heavy bulls to processors made 456c to average 412c/kg.
