Total Yarding: 2,294

The continuing dry weather across the supply area resulted in numbers at Warwick increasing to 2,294 head. All the regular buyers attended and operated with reduced rates for export lines, with heavy feeder cattle also selling to easier trends as did the restocker lines.

Yearling steers in the 200-280kg range to background sold from 320c to 478c/kg. Yearling steers over 280kg to feed sold to 462c/kg. Yearling steers to feed for the domestic market sold from 340c to 454c/kg. Heavy yearling steers to feed sold from 370c to 420c, with those to the wholesale meat trade at 464c/kg. Yearling heifers in the 200-280kg range to restockers sold from 258c to 390c/kg. Yearling heifers over 280kg to feed sold from 348c to 402c/kg. Medium weight yearling heifers to feed sold from 272c to 390c/kg. Heavy yearling heifers to feed sold from 286c to 360c, with those to processors at 304c to 458c/kg.

Grown steers to processors sold from 370c to 415c/kg. Grown heifers to processors sold from 310c to 390c/kg. Light weight plain conditioned cows to restockers sold from 154c to 298c, with those to processors at 200c to 304c/kg. Score 2 heavy cows to processors sold from 250c to 321c/kg. The best heavy cows sold from 300c to 359c/kg. Light weight bulls to restockers sold from 300c to 320c/kg. Heavy bulls to processors sold from 345c to 404c/kg.
