The supply of cattle into Warwick remained virtually unchanged at 1,260 head and there was a large variation in quality especially in the cow section. Buyer representation was good across all grades, and all were active in the market. Most classes sold to within a few cents of the previous weeks sale however, heavy weight cows lost 15c to 20c/kg.

Light weight yearling steers returning to the paddock made to 512c, with most from 472c to 499c/kg. Yearling steers to feed for the domestic market made to 530c, and averaged from 469c to 474c/kg. Heavy weight yearling steers to feed made to 471c to average 454c/kg. Light weight yearling heifers returning to the paddock averaged 386c with sales to 414c/kg. Medium weight yearling heifers to the trade made to 441c and averaged 425c/kg. Medium weight yearling heifers to feed averaged 370c with the occasional sale to 440c/kg. Heavy weight yearling heifers to feed made to 408c to average 374c/kg.

Heavy grown steers made to 448c, the bullock portion made to 445c to average 431c/kg. Medium weight 2 score cows averaged 311ckg. Heavy weight 3 score cows averaged 348c, and the best of the cows made to 375c to average 366c/kg. Heavy weight bulls made to 420c/kg.
