Total Yarding: 2,712 (+1,394) | Sheep Yarding: 1,386 (+919) | Lamb Yarding: 1,326 (+475)

The supply of stock at Warwick increased to 1,326 lambs and 1,386 grown sheep. All the regular buyers attended and competed strongly on all the trade and heavy lambs holding prices firm with several pens selling to dearer trends also the mutton to processors sold to dearer prices.

Young light weight lambs to restockers sold from $70 to $125/head. Young lambs over 12kg to restockers sold from $82 to $166, with the occasional sale to the butcher trade at $226/head. Light weight merino lambs to restockers sold to $172/head. Lambs in the 18-22kg range to the local butcher trade sold from $181 to $267/head. Lambs suited to the wholesale meat trade sold from $220 to $299/head. Heavy lambs to processors sold from $261 to $329, with the extra heavy lambs selling to $395/head.

Hoggets to processors sold from $173 to $280/head. Light weight ewes to restockers sold from $118 to $137/head. Heavy ewes to processors sold from $180 to $262/head. Wethers to processors sold from $130 to $309/head. Ram lambs to the wholesale meat trade sold from $192 to $240/head. Rams to processors sold from $120 to $167/head.
