WARWICK SHEEP SALE MARKET REPORT – WEDNESDAY 19TH NOVEMBER 2025
Total Yarding: 2,153 (+856) | Sheep Yarding: 1,296 (+742) | Lamb Yarding: 857 (+114)
The supply of stock at Warwick increased to 857 lambs and 1,296 grown sheep. The yarding was very mixed with the new season young lambs selling to dearer trends. The limited numbers of older lambs to suit the butcher and trade buyers lifted prices from $3 to $8/head. Hoggets sold to prices $36/head better with the grown sheep to processors firm on last week.
Young lambs in the 12-16kg range to restockers sold from $75 to $158/head. Young lambs in the 16-18kg range to restockers sold from $160 to $186/head. Young lambs over 18kg to the butcher trade sold from $187 to $240/head. Older lambs in the 18-20kg range to the butcher trade sold from $170 to $231/head. Lambs to suit the wholesale meat trade sold from $199 to $288, with the best heavy lambs topping at $305/head.
Hoggets to processors sold from $166 to $248/head. Light weight crossbred and dorper ewes to restockers sold from $100 to $160/head. Heavy ewes to processors sold from $140 to $230/head. Light weight merino wethers to processors sold to $128, with heavy crossbred wethers at $146 to $210/head. Ram lambs to the butcher trade sold from $195 to $258/head. Rams to processors sold from $130 to $182/head. Ewes and lambs sold to $315/unit.
