The supply of stock at Warwick reduced by more than half with agents penning 598 lambs and 410 grown sheep. With the smaller yarding not all processors attended, which resulted in prices for heavy lambs and mutton easing from $4 to $16/head and more in places however, the lambs suited to the wholesale meat trade sold to dearer trends lifting from $6 to $11/head. Young lambs to restockers and butchers sold dearer from $10 to $20/head.

Young lambs to restockers sold from $140 to $174/head. Young lambs over 16kg to the butcher trade sold from $130 to $222/head. Older lambs to the wholesale meat trade sold from $208 to $242/head. Lambs in the 22-26kg range to processors sold from $202 to $278/head with heavy lambs topping at $302/head.

Hoggets to processors sold from $180 to $231/head. Ewes to processors sold from $120 to $236/head. Light weight merino wethers to processors sold to $118 with dorper wethers at $215/head. Ram lambs to the butcher trade sold from $170 o $241/head. Rams to processors sold from $132 to $230/head.
