Total Yarding: 1,170 (-1,909) | Sheep Yarding: 306 (-777) | Lamb Yarding: 864 (-1,132)
The supply of stock at Warwick reduced to 864 lambs and 306 grown sheep. The low numbers resulted in several processors unable to operate which resulted in heavy and trade weight lambs selling to easier trends however light weight lambs to the butcher trade improved by $18/head.
Young lambs in the 12-16kg range to restockers sold from $142 to $170/head. Young lambs over 16kg to restockers sold from $156 to $198 with those to the wholesale meat trade at $200 to $225/head. Older lambs in the 18-20kg range to the butcher trade sold from $180 to $241 with those to restockers and feeder buyers at $164 to $223/head. Lambs to suit the wholesale meat trade sold from $240 to $260/head. Lambs to processors sold from $244 to $296 with the best heavy lambs at $320/head.
Hoggets to processors sold from $180 to $234/head. Light weight ewes to restockers sold from $110 to $215/head. Crossbred and dorper ewes to processors sold from $180 to $242/head. Merino wethers to restockers sold from $167 to $188/head. Ram lambs to processors sold from $194 to $234/head. Meat rams sold from $172 to $205/head. Ewes and lambs sold to $312/unit.
