WARWICK SHEEP SALE MARKET REPORT – WEDNESDAY 29TH JULY 2026

Total Yarding: 1,560 (+390) | Sheep Yarding: 637 (+331) | Lamb Yarding: 923 (+59)

A small increase in supply at Warwick with 923 lambs and 637 grown sheep yarded. All the regular buyers attended and operated on a dearer market for store lambs and lambs to suit the processor with Hoggets dearer and mutton selling to prices close to last week.

Young lambs in the 12-16kg range to restockers gained $33 and sold from $96 to $190/head. Young lambs to the butcher trade sold from $158 to $198/head. Older lambs in the 18-20kg range to feeder buyers sold from $180 to $234/head. Lambs in the 20-22kg range to the wholesale meat trade improved by $8 and sold from $224 to $270/head. Lambs to processors improved from $11 to $30/head selling from $246 to $331/head.

Hoggets to processors sold to dearer trends at $192 to $266/head. Heavy ewes to processors sold from $175 to $262/head. Merino wethers with no skin  to restockers sold from $100 to $152/head. Heavy wethers to processors sold from $269 to $281/head. Ram lambs to processors sold from $214 to $237/head. Meat rams sold from $140 to $183/head.
