WARWICK SHEEP SALE MARKET REPORT – WEDNESDAY 29TH OCTOBER 2025
Total Yarding: 1,306 (-376) | Sheep Yarding: 520 (-164) | Lamb Yarding: 786 (-212)
Agents penned 786 lambs and 520 grown sheep. The yarding contained light weight store lambs to suit the restocker also well finished runs of trade weight lambs which sold to prices similar to last week. Hoggets sold to easier trends as did the ewes to processors with the ram lambs selling to improved prices.
Young lambs in the 12-16kg range to restockers sold from $64 to $132/head. Young lambs over 16kg to the butcher trade sold from $108 to $150/head with those over 18kg at $189/head. Older lambs in the 20-22kg range to the wholesale meat trade sold from $180 to $216/head. Lambs over 22kg to processors sold from $219 to $261/head. Heavy trade lambs sold from $229 to $270/head.
Hoggets to processors sold from $170 to $210/head. Light weight ewes to processors sold from $86 to $122 with the heavy ewes at $151 to $180/head. Merino wethers to restockers sold from $58 to $102/head. Ram lambs to the butcher trade sold from $170 to $200/head. Rams to processors sold from $140 to $186/head. Ewes and lambs sold to $280/unit.
