Warwick agents penned 1,228 lambs and 752 grown sheep. The quality across the young store lambs was not up to last weeks standard, which resulted in prices reducing from $4 to $23/head. Trade weight and heavy lambs to processors improved from $8 to $19/head. Heavy mutton sold to dearer trends.

Young lambs 12-18kg range to restockers sold from $79 to $98 with feeder operators paying to $140/head. Young lambs in the 18-20kg range to the local butcher trade sold from $128 to $154/head. Older lambs to restockers sold from $96 to $118/head. Lambs in the 18-22kg range to the wholesale meat trade sold from $135 to $202/head. Lambs in the 24-26kg range to processors sold from $172 to $270, with heavy lambs selling to a top of $308/head.

Hoggets to processors sold from $150 to $188/head. Restocker merino ewes sold to $79, with heavy dorper ewes to processors at $129 to $227/head. Merino wethers to processors sold from $140 to $160, with dorper wethers from $155 to $180/head. Ram lambs to the local butcher trade sold from $130 to $152/head. Rams to processors sold from $120 to $128, with one finding a new home at $172/head. Ewes and lambs sold to $186/unit.
