WARWICK SHEEP SALE MARKET REPORT – WEDNESDAY 4TH FEBRUARY 2026
Total Yarding: 3,085 (-604) | Sheep Yarding: 1,546 (-380) | Lamb Yarding: 1,539 (-224)
The cancelled sale last week resulted in Warwick agents penning 1,539 lambs and 1,546 grown sheep. All the regular processors attended along with feeder and restocker buyers. Store and trade lambs sold to dearer trends, with hoggets easier, and mutton lines firm to slightly dearer.
Young lambs in the 12-16kg range to restockers lifted $9 and sold from $86 to $160/head. Young lambs in the 16-18kg range up $8, selling from $110 to $178/head. Young lambs to feed sold from $160 to $220/head. Older lambs in the 18-20kg range to the butcher trade sold from $217 to $239/head. Lambs to suit the wholesale meat trade improved by $21, and sold from $189 to $241/head. Heavy lambs to processors sold from $222 to $285/head.
Hoggets to processors sold from $130 to $210/head. Light weight merino and crossbred ewes to restockers sold from $40 to $160/head. Dorper and crossbred ewes to processors sold from $139 to $204/head. Wethers to processors sold from $134 to $200/head. Ram lambs to the butcher trade sold from $131 to $185/head. Rams to processors sold from $134 to $152/head.
