WARWICK SHEEP SALE MARKET REPORT – WEDNESDAY 5TH NOVEMBER 2025

Total Yarding: 2,433 (+1,127) | Sheep Yarding: 948 (+428) | Lamb Yarding: 1,485 (+699)

The supply of stock increased to 1,485 lambs and 948 grown sheep. With the extra numbers most of the processors were able to operate which improved prices on all heavy lambs and mutton with trade lambs selling to strong prices and restocker lines also selling to dearer trends.

Young lambs in the 12-18kg range to restockers sold from $101 to  $128/head. Young lambs in the 16-18kg range to the butcher trade sold from $160 to $185 with those over 18kg at $206 to $254/head. Older lambs n the 18-20kg range to feed sold to $199 and to the butcher trade at $187 to $210/head. Light trade lambs sold from $179 to $250/head. Heavy trade lambs to processors sold from $191 to $310 with the best heavy topping at $335/head.

Dorper and crossbred hoggets to processors sold from $144 to $228/head. Light weight crossbred ewes to restockers sold from $65 to $100/head. Heavy ewes to processors sold from $150 to $210/head. Merino wethers with skin to restockers sold from $96 to $193/head. Heavy wethers to processors sold from $185 to $248/head. Ram lambs to the butcher trade sold from $150 to $198/head. Rams to processors sold from $150 to $190/head. Ewes and lambs sold to $215/unit.
